Is your name really J. F. Seegitz?
It’s a pen name. My full name is Joseph Frank Seegitz, but I use J. F. Seegitz because it’s more mature and professional. (At least, that’s what I tell myself)
What’s the hardest part about writing this blog?
Keeping the language clean.
Where in Korea were you living and teaching?
My apartment was a three and a half minute walk to the Sanbon Feinschule English Institute which is in Gunpo City, South Korea, about an hour south of Seoul.
I’m interested in going to South Korea to teach English. Any advice?
In case I didn’t make it clear here, here, and here what a terrible idea that is, and you absolutely MUST go to Korea, then I recommend finding work on a place like Dave’s ESL cafe. But under NO CIRCUMSTANCES are you to give a dime to the CIEE (Council on International Educational Exchange) for job placement. They charge hefty fees for services that you will NEVER see and afterwards they don’t want to hear about a refund.
